Introduction diving program (Intro diving) is open to everyone who visits Dahab. What is intro diving? It is scuba diving for beginners. No previous scuba diving experience is necessary and it is the best way to try scuba diving, before committing to a learn to PADI Open Water Diving course in Dahab. Dahab Intro diving program allows you to scuba diving under the water, a great way to explore the underwater word of Red Sea in Dahab. Intro diving is also known as DSD (Discover Scuba Diving), because it is first diving experience. To complete an Introductory Dive in Dahab, you need to be at least 10 years old and pass the dive medical questionnaire. Please remember there are some health ‘conditions’ which may prevent you from trying introductory scuba diving. The most common reasons is asthma, epilepsy, heart conditions.
Early morning around 8.00 we will pick You up from your hotel in Dahab and transport to diving center. In the diving center, we will begin theoretical training. When safety and equipment briefings complete, diving instructors will give an overview of the general knowledge of scuba diving, including some practical demonstrations on the basic skills you’ll need to complete when in the water. In the house reef in Dahab, you will be provided with a wetsuit and staff shown you how to put on your scuba gear and enter to the water. Your diving Instructor will be all time with you. After entering to the water, they will make sure that you are comfortable and that the mask is properly fitted. When you are ready, you can dive with a diving instructor to 1 meter under water. Here stop, so you can practice breathing through the regulator and the practice of equalizing pressure in the ears. You will practice your skills before being taken on a 20 minute dive with your instructor to explore spectacular coral reefs in Dahab. During program Intro diving instructor will monitor your depth, air supply, buoyancy, and comfort level at all times. Intro diving program it is 2 dives around 20 minutes on maximum depth 6 meters.
