Our Boats
|
We have 2 of our own boats all moored at our jetty.
The biggest boat is called Boshra - 24 metres in length,
2 large diesel engines and a sleeping capacity of 14 people
in 6 cabins. This boat is licensed to carry up to 50 passengers,
but with divers on board we limit numbers to an absolute maximum
of 30. We use Boshra for both daily diving and week long safaris. |
The second boat is Kingfisher - 19 metres in length and licensed
to carry up to 15 divers. We use Kingfisher to run our popular
'mini-safaris', of one or two nights away. These safaris are
popular with groups and dive clubs who don't want to spend their
whole holiday at sea, but would prefer a couple of nights away
in order to get to those dive sites a little further away, such
as the world’s most popular shipwreck, the Thistlegorm,
located on the other side of the Suez canal. |
|
When numbers allow, we will always try to give dive clubs a boat
to themselves at no extra cost.
All boats have kitchens, toilets, a covered salon and ample space,
both covered and open, for sitting/sunbathing. All boats carry first
aid equipment and oxygen.
