The Red Sea offers everything that a beginner or seasoned diver is looking for in a diving holiday.
The water is always warm, calm and clear and we have a great variety of dive sites covering wrecks, walls, drifts and coral gardens, all easily accessible by boat.
Every Wednesday we visit Dolphin Reef to swim and snorkel with wild dolphins*. A trip not to be missed! Contact us for more information. |
- We have our own jetty next to the dive centre so our minibus transfer from your hotel can bring you and your equipment right to the dive boat. There is no carrying of heavy equipment/cylinders, we do all that! We will even put your equipment together for you, if you wish.
- We meet at 8.30am and get the boats underway at 9.00am. The majority of our dive sites are between 20 minutes and 1 hour away, with the exception of the Abu Nuhas wrecks which are 3 hours away and involve an early start, but are well worth it!
- We moor our dive boats only to permanent mooring lines attached to either the base or top of the reefs - we have never had cause to throw the anchor.
- One of the Instructors on board will give a comprehensive briefing and assign groups/buddy pairs. You can either follow one of our Dive Guides or buddy up with a fellow diver for a bit more freedom.
- After the first dive we have lunch and sleeping/sunbathing time, before motoring onto the second dive site.
- If you have any special requests as to certain sites you would like to dive, we can try and arrange these for you.
- We aim to be back at the dive centre between 4pm and 6pm depending on how far out we go.
- Please note that daily diving with us includes lunch on the boat, hotel transfers, environmental tax and 5% sales tax.
- The only extra to pay for with us is if we dive in the Marine Park around Giftun Island, where some superb wall and drift dives await. The Egyptian government charge $2 per person for visiting the Marine Park, whether you are a diver, a snorkeler or a passenger. The proceeds of this extra tax goes towards the maintenance and upkeep of the many hundreds of mooring lines which all dive boats are obliged to use - thereby saving the need to throw in the anchor, which damages the reef.
*The dolphins are wild and are, therefore, not guaranteed!
