Courses
We provide all the PADI courses all the way up to PADI Divemaster.
All our courses are held in our 'cosy' classroom, our 'almost' olympic
sized swimming pool and, of course, the Red Sea.
We start our courses on demand, to fit your holiday schedule, and
we will provide you with transfers, full instruction, all equipment,
lunch while on the boat and log book. The prices quoted for any
course are fully inclusive - there are no "hidden extras"
waiting to surprise you at the end of your course! For more information
on our prices, please visit our Prices

Open Water
The entry level diving course. This course takes 4 days and is
a combination of theory, pool work and open water dives. The first
two days are spent in the classroom and pool, learning (with the
aid of a comprehensive manual and videos) what diving is all about.
The last 2 days are spent on the dive boat doing 4 sea dives, to
a maximum depth of 18 metres. The diving certification you receive
at the end of the course is valid worldwide (for life) and allows
you to dive to 18 metres, with another diver having the same or
higher certification. We can start this course on request and it
does not have to be completed on 4 consecutive days - if you would
like a day or two break, to see other attractions or simply laze
on the beach … feel free to!
Open Water Referral
This is a mini-course whereby you do your pool work and theory
back home at a local PADI dive centre and then complete the last
2 days with us doing the 4 boat dives. This course is popular with
people who have a limited amount of holiday time or come from colder
climates – they don't want to sit in a classroom or dive in
cold water when the sun is shining and the Red Sea is beckoning
....
Advanced Open Water
This is the next level up from the Open Water Course and includes
5 dives over 2 days. There are 2 compulsory dives to make, the deep
dive and the navigation dive, and the remaining 3 dives are up to
you. Some of the more popular ones are: night, drift, photography,
multi-level, search & recovery and wreck diving. Again, we can
start this course on request. A fun filled course, purely boat based.
Rescue Diver
Now you start learning to look out for fellow divers, being ready
to help out if an 'incident' occurs. This course is a combination
of classroom work and boat dives, run over 3 days, if you already
have a current (within the last 2 years) first aid certificate which
includes simulated C.P.R. (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation). If you
need to take a first aid course we offer the E.F.R. (Emergency First
Response) run over 1 day at the end of, or before, the Rescue Diver
course.
E.F.R.
This is PADI's own first aid course on a par with St John's Ambulance
or The Red Cross. To complete either the Rescue Diver Course or
the Divemaster Course a current first aid certificate is required.
This course takes 1 day and is purely classroom based involving
self study, videos and role playing.
Divemaster
The first rung of the professional diving ladder. A Divemaster
is qualified to lead dives as an underwater guide and act as an
Instructor's assistant when training students. We run this course
over 2 weeks or as an internship over a number of months. We would
expect you to supply most, if not all, of your own equipment if
possible (though you can use ours if you wish) because at this level
you want a certain 'comfort factor', which does not exist with borrowed
equipment. There is a lot of theory involved in this course, therefore,
if you are doing the intensive 2 week option it is in your interest
to buy the relevant reading material and devour it before you come
out. The internship option is altogether more relaxed and, if time
allows, our preferred option.
