Diving & Boat Rules

As the majority of dive sites are remotely located, please limit your dives and your depth to your ability and always follow the guidelines of your Dive Guide. Please be aware that you are at least
4 - 5 hours away from the nearest recompression facility.

The maximum dive depth for all dives is 30 metres.

Make a safety stop whenever possible - 3 minutes at 5 metres. Ascend to your safety stop once you reach 50 bar/500 psi.

Please never remain under water with less than 30 bar/300 psi.

Your first dive will be a check-dive where you will be checked on the following: mask clearing, regulatory recovery, out of air situation, buoyancy control and general diving practices.

Always dive with and be aware of your buddy at all times. If you become separated underwater, remain where you are, look around 360 degrees for your buddy, for no more than one minute. If your buddy is not located, ascend directly to the surface at a safe rate. Your buddy will hopefully have done the same thing and you can reunite at the surface. If not, report your buddy missing to the Dive Guide or boat crew as soon as possible.

Please remove shoes when you board the liveaboard. Please do not enter the salon or your cabin of your liveaboard when you are wet. Please do not smoke in the salon or your cabin.

Fresh water on board is limited, therefore, please apply economic usage.

Your personal belongings are your responsibility - please ensure they are stored securely.

The electrical current on the liveaboard, as well as all over Egypt, is 220 V - 50 Hz.

Alcoholic drinks on board are extras. Please ensure you settle your bill before the end of the trip.

In order to avoid dehydration, please ensure you drink at least 3 litres of water per day.

If you are happy with the service you have received, please feel free to tip the boat crew and/or Dive Guide if you wish. This will be very much appreciated.

Have a great trip!
